Terms of Sale & License

Effective date: 09/01/2026

These terms apply when you buy a digital resource from the Copper Comma shop. By completing a purchase, you agree to them. Custom design work, workshops, and speaking engagements are covered by a separate written agreement.

What you're buying

Shop products are digital files, such as PDFs, Word documents, and slide decks. Nothing physical is shipped. Each product page lists the format, what's included, and any software you need to open it.

Prices and payment

Prices are in US dollars. Sales tax is added at checkout where required. Payments are processed securely by Stripe.

Delivery

After payment, you'll receive a download link on the confirmation page and by email. Download links expire after a limited time, so save your files right away. If your link has expired or a file won't download, email shop@coppercomma.com with your order number and we'll send a new one.

Your license: one educator

Each purchase gives one educator a personal, non-transferable license to use the resource.

You may:

  • Use it with your own students, classes, or team, for as many years as you like

  • Print or copy it for the learners you work with directly

  • Share it with your own learners through a password-protected platform, such as your class LMS or Google Classroom

  • Adapt it for your own learners' needs

You may not:

  • Share, forward, or give the files to other educators, schools, or organizations

  • Post the files anywhere the public can access them, including school websites, shared drives, or resource-sharing sites

  • Sell, resell, sublicense, or claim the resource as your own work

  • Upload the files to AI tools to train models or to create similar products

Schools and teams: each additional educator needs their own license. For a school, district, or company license, email shop@coppercomma.com

Ownership

Copper Comma keeps the copyright and all other rights in every resource. Buying a resource gives you a license to use it, not ownership of the content. Please keep the copyright notice on printed or shared copies.

Refunds

Because digital files can't be returned, all sales are final. If something goes wrong on our end, we’ll make it right. If a file is damaged, won’t open, or is materially different from its product description, email shop@coppercomma.com within 30 days of purchase. We’ll send a corrected file or, if we can’t fix the problem, a full refund.

Please read the product description, preview images, and format details before buying. Refunds aren’t available for buying the wrong product, changing your mind, or not needing the resource after all.

Disclaimer

Resources are designed to support educators’ professional judgment. You are responsible for deciding whether a resource suits your learners and setting, and for adapting it as needed. Resources are provided “as is.” Copper Comma’s total liability for any purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Georgia.
